Meet the team

Jana Bersted  loves that she is a senior majoring in social work and minoring in theological studies. She hails from Oletha, Kansas, loves taking long walks and taking short sips of a large coffee. Jana would rather wear running leggings and a long sleeved tshirt than anything else and has many outfits like this to show for it. Jana has impeccable attention to detail and comes into all situations with an open mind ready to challenge others and herself.

Hannah Lammert is a junior studying Psychology and she likes to ask questions--not in an annoying, ditzy sort of way but in an effort to gain clarity. She is and loves the way theology classes at SLU require her to think about things she may not otherwise think about. During the summer Hannah was a camp counselor and during the school year she is busy practicing being awesome and coloring everything she can find with a purple marker because purple is her favorite color and firmly believes it should be yours too. If Hannah could have someone/something taped to her hand all week, it would be a black bear hamster.

Maurya Cockrell is a junior at SLU and studying Health Management. She is enrolled in Dr. Finucane's Marriage and Christian Vocation class in the fall and has declared a theology minor. Her favorite color is green, what shade, I do not yet know, but I will let you know as soon as I do. And, just so you know, if you ever give her a bowl of ice cream, she's going to eat it NOW, so you probably should get your own.

Emily Clark is a senior studying theology and social work. She has a strong attraction to neon colors and maintains a collection of brightly colored running shoes that she cycles through as she trains for endurance races. Emily is thrilled to be responsible for this conference and learn a whole lot throughout the planning process but admits she is super type-A and will be drinking a lot of coffee the weekend of the conference to help her keep calm and carry on.
